Hybrid flooring combines a rigid core (stone plastic composite or stone polymer composite, depending on the manufacturer’s terminology) with a photographic timber-look layer and a durable wear surface.
Hybrid flooring has a highly water-resistant core and waterproof top layer which is well suited to living areas, kitchens and many laundries, subject to the manufacturer’s installation requirements. It is generally not recommended for bathrooms or continuously wet areas.
