What's the difference between carpet tiles and broadloom carpet?
Broadloom carpet is installed as a continuous roll. Carpet tiles are modular. Individual tiles can often be replaced more easily than broadloom carpet, subject to installation method, adhesive and availability of matching spare tiles.
Can a single damaged tile be replaced?
Often, yes, if the installation method allows it and a matching spare from the same batch is available. It is not automatic for every adhesive system or discontinued colour.
Are carpet tiles only for offices?
No. Airlay, Calm Walk and Armstrong include ranges used in homes as well as commercial spaces. We’ll recommend a grade for the room.
How many spare tiles should I keep?
We recommend retaining an appropriate quantity of spare tiles from the same production batch; the amount will depend on the area and product.
Can carpet tiles go over an existing floor?
The substrate needs to be clean, dry, sound and sufficiently smooth. Preparation is quoted separately where the existing surface is not suitable.

Do you remove old flooring?
Removal and disposal are quoted by flooring type and may exclude asbestos-containing materials, contaminated materials or unforeseen substrates.
